Jim Tarantino, founder and principal of Tarantino & Company, Capri Communities and Trisect, builds and manages independent, assisted and memory care residences for seniors throughout southeastern Wisconsin. Spend any time with Jim and you will soon discover that his real mission is to build a life of hope and enrichment for all of his residents and their communities.
Between the three companies, Jim employs more than 650 people and manages over 2,000 residential units spanning from Kenosha to Port Washington, from Madison to Fond du Lac. With a belief that ‘we are here to fundamentally help people’, Jim sets a high standard for his employees and partners. His ability to recognize and adapt to changing demographic, lifestyle and labor trends keeps Capri Communities at the forefront of exemplary senior living in the industry.
He credits growing up in a large traditional Sicilian household on the east side for these beliefs that have spilled over into his business practices. Jim looks at his work as a natural way to honor his family’s legacy and a simple way to show his gratitude for his open, caring upbringing. His welcoming style has led to some successful public-private partnerships, such as the St. Rita Square and St. Rita Church project currently under development.
“I have found that Park Bank shares my philosophy of collaborative problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking. From my banker to the president, they are accessible and flexible which gives me the confidence I need to continue pursuing new projects.”
